Frequently Asked Fitness Questions
Q: Why do I need a Personal Trainer?
A: If your goals include weight loss, increased strength, fat loss, increased metabolism, improved flexibility, better sporting performance or toned muscles then a Personal Trainer can help you. A Personal Trainer will make sure you are doing the right exercises based on your fitness goals and will ensure that you are doing your exercises correctly to minimise the risk of injury and to maximise the benefit for the time you invest. A Personal Trainer will help you with motivation, accountability and consistency. Most importantly, your Personal Trainer will provide you with the best tools to adopt a more healthy and fit lifestyle so you look and feel your best for the rest of your life.
Q: Will you give me a program to follow when I’m not with a trainer?
A: Of course, our goal at Make A Difference Personal Training is to provide you with the knowledge and skills to carry through the rest of your life. The idea of a program is that it is complete from start to finish. Your trainer will design a safe and progressive program for you to follow throughout your training with us and into the future.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: With Make A Difference Personal Training you don’t have to be rich or famous to have your own Personal Fitness Trainer. Our commitment is to make personal training services affordable and accessible. Cost depends on the program that we tailor for you which will depend on your individual goals. We cover this in your introductory session so call us to to book in today and take the first step in achieving your goals!
Q: How often should you meet with a personal trainer?
A: This will depend upon your goals, how quickly you want to achieve them, your schedule and time available to exercise, and your budget. We tailor your program to suit you.
Q: Am I too old? Am I too young?
A: No! Our Personal Trainer, Lee Smith is qualified for older person training and children training. You are never too old or too young to start or get back into training.
Q: Can more than ONE person train?
A: We prefer to do one on one sessions so that you get the most out of each session. However, the important thing is that you do exercise and for some people they will only do this with support from a friend or family member. So we do offer partner training to couples, friends, and parents and their children. It can reduce the cost, and the best thing is that both of you will feel, see and experience the pleasure and joy of achieving your goals together.
Q: What do I need to bring?
A: Just yourself. We provide towels, water and all the equipment.
Q: What do I wear?
A: You don’t need specialised gym wear – just a t-shirt, runners/sneakers and a pair of shorts or comfortable pants. And because you are in a private studio you don’t need to worry about what you look like because it is just you and the personal trainer.
