Make A Difference is different from the typical gym, where it’s all about memberships, you get one instruction session and then you are left alone. We’re not part of a franchise and there’s no loud music. We are a small, friendly, family-owned gym in Cooroy. Whether you choose one-on-one personal training or a small group gym session or an exercise class, your qualified personal trainer Lee, is with you at every session.
I don’t offer a one-size-fits-all service. No two people are the same, so no two clients are treated the same. That means with me, you get a tailored program that takes into account your age, ability, injuries and health conditions. Your training is designed for your goals, needs and fitness levels.
Exercise can be daunting when you start out and often the biggest step is to make a start.
At Make a Difference health and fitness gym, you’ll start gently: in fact my whole approach is pretty relaxed with no boot camp mentality.
I am ranked a level 3 (the highest ranking) fitness professional with Fitness Australia. I regularly attend professional development, so am up to date with the latest research, methods and techniques.
Group classes
My small group gym sessions of no more than six people are unique. For a more affordable fee than one-on-one personal training, my clients get individual programs and a personal trainer monitoring your progress and amending your program every week.

Starting late on your fitness journey? I am skilled in fitness for older adults. My light exercise group; At Your Pace!, is held outside the gym environment. The At Your Pace! group enjoys this light hearted exercise session in the air conditioned QCWA hall in Cooroy every Wednesday at 1.15-2.15. The evidence shows exercise is important for healthy ageing and my At Your Pace! program is aimed at older adults. These affordable group sessions incorporate resistance training, cardiovascular, balance, coordination, stretching, fun and a social side!
No matter which type of fitness training you choose, my philosophy is to provide an environment where my clients feel comfortable, supported and encouraged; never overly pushed. I believe enjoyment is an important part of exercise. That’s why my core business value is making exercise and going to the gym fun and achievable.
